Although built on a truck-like chassis, truck cranes are mounted on specially designed carrier frames designed to withstand the stresses of constant lifting and lowering of heavy loads.

Usually offer only front steering – but can travel long distances at highway speeds. Other key operating elements include either a hydraulic telescoping boom or a lattice boom, and outriggers.

Typical uses include:
  • Oil sands construction activity.
  • Oil sands MRO work.
  • Industrial “taxi” work.
  • Support of oil and gas drilling and completion work.
